Creating music in addition with music production has been part of my everyday life for many years now. My personal studio is the place where I can create melodies and compose my music history. Even today, it is not clear whether I chose music or music chose me.
The sound of my work when I’m writing songs is almost always based on physical instruments. However, when my work concerns orchestral music, then my sound has bold electronic data and is based on synthesizers.
My influences in both cases come mainly from artists and bands that were at the forefront of the 60s, 70s and 80s (Beatles, Bob Dylan, Animals, Rolling Stones, Queen, Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre, Giorgio Moroder, O.M.D.).
I am not interested in copying or preserving elements either from other artists or from any music era. I just filter all the things I like and I simply express myself. Sometimes I might change or adjust songs written in the past, so as to represent them in a different manner, but always based on my own personal style.
The source of inspiration for me can be anything. It could be personal moments of my life, or events that have occurred in the world. Therefore, my songs always describe true stories. Besides the music, I also write the lyrics, and usually both happen simultaneously. For an instrumental project where there are no lyrics to lead me, I always work as if I am writing a soundtrack for a picture. If there is an image I follow it, if there is not, I just close my eyes and imagine it.
